Immerse yourself in Uganda’s diverse landscapes as you travel from the vibrant city of Entebbe to the adrenaline-filled Jinja, serene Sipi Falls, culturally rich Karamoja and the untamed wilderness of Kidepo National Park. This extraordinary trip offers a perfect blend of adventure, cultural immersion and awe-inspiring natural wonders, leaving you with unforgettable memories for life.

Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe

Get an instant taste of the local culture and enjoy a Nile Special or one of the fresh fruit juices on ViaVia’s terrace.

Day 2 – Entebbe

After a delicious breakfast, it’s time to explore Entebbe. Visit the local market, botanical garden, ….
The botanical garden is home to white cola bushes and vervet monkeys, among others. The botanical garden is home to black-and-white colobuses and vervet monkeys. Overlooking Lake Victoria, enjoy another refreshing drink before leaving this beautiful fauna and flora. On the way back to ViaVia is Victoria Mall. Here some practical matters can be arranged such as changing money. In the evening, enjoy dinner and some bird watching in ViaVia, such as the great blue turaco.

Day 3 – Mabamba Swamp & Jinja

In the morning, you will search for the Shoebill on Lake Victoria which is definitely not to be missed during your stay in Entebbe. Guide Rodger will take you out on the water in Mabamba Swamp. After this, you will drive to Jinja. This village is known as the centre of adventure, many travellers visit here to go rafting on the Nile or bungee jumping. Jinja has a lively centre and is a nice village to stroll around in. For souvenirs, this is the place to be. Still some time left? Then be sure to go looking for the source of the Nile.

Day 4 – Jinja

Day 5 – Sipi Falls

After breakfast, the journey continues to Sipi Falls. This paradise for nature lovers consists of 3 waterfalls. The region is on the edge of Mount Elgon National Park, on the border with Kenya. The area is characterised by coffee plantations, small rivers and waterfalls. Go on a hike with a local farmer through the coffee plantations, this way you will learn more about Uganda’s coffee process.

Day 6 – Sipi Falls

A guided hike to the waterfalls begins. Hike through lush greenery, witness the stunning waterfalls, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Indulge in the serene beauty and tranquility of this hidden gem.

Day 7 – Karamoja

The safari car will take you further into north-eastern Uganda. The Karamajong are a nomadic people related to the Masai in Kenya. Once you arrive in Moroto, it’s time for an introduction to this authentic culture.

Day 8 – Karamoja & Kidepo National Park

Together with a guide, you will set off to explore the Moroto area. Take a nature walk in the area or visit local craftsmen. This is followed by a ride to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda’s hidden treasure. This is the most remote national park in the far northeast, bordering South Sudan and Kenya. Once inside the park, every moment is spent enjoying the panoramic views.

Day 9 – Kidepo National Park

The day starts with an early morning game drive through the park. Vast landscapes, variety of fauna and flora and a great diversity of animals. Almost all animals are present: leopards, lions, hyenas, elephants and so on. Bird-lovers are sure to get their satisfaction here, as the park has around 450 bird species.

Day 10 – Kidepo & Entebbe

In the morning, the ranger will be waiting for you for a walk through the park. After this, you will take the plane back to Entebbe; a magical experience with beautiful views!

Day 11 – Entebbe

Ready for a day of relaxation in Entebbe. Need some inspiration to fill the day? Take a walk along a mapped route or book a relaxing massage at Cristal Spa.

Day 12 – Entebbe

Last day, not found all the souvenirs yet? Be sure to visit the local craft markets. After this, enjoy the peaceful surroundings for a while!
