Whether you are an avid birdwatcher or simply a lover of nature’s beauty, our Mabamba Shoebill tour in Mabamba Swamp promises an unforgettable experience in Entebbe. With its distinctively enormous bill and striking features, this prehistoric-looking bird will leave you in awe.
Mabamba Swamp is a remarkable wetland located close to ViaVia Entebbe. It is renowned for its diverse ecosystem and, in particular, for being one of the best places in the world to spot the rare and iconic Shoebill Bird. The Swamp is characterized by its vast expanse of papyrus reeds, shallow channels, and open water areas. This unique combination of habitats provides an ideal environment for a variety of bird species, making it a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts alike.
Our friend & guide Rodgers will take you to the Mabamba Swamp on his wooden boat. You can spot this magical bird, together with many other birds that fly around, while you paddle through the swamp.
Feel the excitement rise within you as you capture unforgettable moments through your camera lens or just take in the sheer beauty of this wonder.
